About the Studio

A different kind of design firm

Most studios design. We design, permit, source, build, and deliver. Ganggaan was founded on a simple but rarely acted-upon belief: that a client commissioning an ultra-luxury interior should never have to manage three separate firms, coordinate between an interior designer and an architect, or wait while one firm chases approvals from another.

So we built the firm we wished existed. Interior design, architecture, AOR permitting across every Dubai authority and master developer, FF&E sourcing, custom furniture, and full project management. All in-house. One team, one point of contact, from first sketch to completion certificate.

We work with owners of villas, mansions, penthouses, and apartments across Dubai and the wider GCC, as well as select international markets. Our clients are decisive people who expect things to be handled. We handle them.

Ebrahim
Assur

Co-Founder & Executive Director

Born and raised in Cape Town, South Africa. Shaped by three continents. Driven by an unrelenting pursuit of the extraordinary.

Ebrahim Assur is an award-winning designer with over 15 years at the forefront of ultra-luxury, spanning product, interior, lighting, and architectural design. He has delivered defining projects across Africa, Europe, and the UAE, building a body of work rooted in precision, craft, and intent. He came to interiors and architecture through product and furniture design, a discipline where a millimetre shows. That work has been exhibited internationally and featured in Dezeen, Design Indaba and Gulf News.

His work is not tied to a single aesthetic. It is tied to a single standard: that every decision serves the space and the person living in it. Whether the brief calls for restraint or abundance, Ebrahim brings the same rigour to both.

Abdallah
Massarweh

Co-Founder & Operations Director

Born and raised in Dubai, United Arab Emirates. Built on engineering. Driven by the art of making things happen.

Abdallah Massarweh brings over 10 years of experience navigating the most complex layers of ultra-luxury project delivery. What sets him apart is rare: he has sat on every side of the table. As contractor, consultant, client-side with luxury developers, and within government authority, he has seen how the system works from every angle, and knows exactly how to make it work for you.

That 360-degree fluency in Dubai's regulatory and development landscape has guided some of the region's most ambitious firms through approvals, permitting, and strategies that others could not crack. Much of that work is not public. Approvals strategy, authority negotiation and delivery under confidentiality rarely carry a byline. That is precisely the point.

Design intent must survive intact from the first sketch to the finished space. We protect it at every stage by keeping design, permitting, and delivery under one roof.

You should never have to coordinate between your interior designer, your architect, your permit consultant, and your project manager. At Ganggaan, that is one person.

We move efficiently, but never at the expense of accuracy. A submission done right the first time is faster than one that requires three rounds of revision with an authority.
